I read your whole blog, tho I skimmed some of the 4e parts and I'm just really impressed. I'm nowhere near as mathematically facile as you (and Delta) are (and I hope this doesn't come across as condescending).
The sort of 'system generalization' work you're doing, decoupling term from detail and refining the syntaxes - it's so on the edge of my ability that I'm afraid I don't have much of a vocabulary developed for it - so my reaction is incohate right now - sorry - but genuinely appreciative!
I'm just glad that the info at the Potion Shop is useful. I originally intended the blog as a "public diary" that I could access from anywhere (I travel a lot) more than as a public resource but I'm glad that folks are finding interesting nuggets!
Delta's blog is great -- as I'm sure you saw, I've stolen several ideas from him to work into my own projects.
I hope to eventually muddle through on a workable "Spell Matrix" system... We'll see how it turns out. Its a tough nut to crack. I'm just glad that my Latin studies are finally useful for something ;).
